Creative Morning with Verona Němcová

Verona Němcová will come to talk about what drives her in life and in her work.

Veronika Němcová graduated in cultural studies. Until March 31, 2025, she served as the director of the Schaubmar Mill in Pezinok, an outpost of the Slovak National Gallery. She is part of the initiative of mass layoffs of SNG employees who left in protest against the current unprofessional management of the institution. She is actively involved in the Open Culture! initiative, which aims to stop the devastating interventions of the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic into the cultural environment at all levels. She is currently working on art in public space as part of her doctoral studies at STU and is working as a producer of the Waiting Places project, which is part of the ECOC Trenčín 2026 program.
