At the intersection of art, sculpture, play and community activation, designers Danica Pišteková (Woven, SK), Matěj Hájek (Studio Skull, CZ) and Sandra Štasselová (Metropolitan Instutite of Bratislava) will show how creating spaces for creative and adventurous play fosters resilience, self-esteem, physical and mental health, social connection and a more inclusive urban environment.

We will also discuss how they can work with municipalities to create opportunities for meaningful play, respond to community concerns, and ensure that the needs of girls and young women are actively considered in the design of public spaces. How to rethink the boundary between playful urban space and the traditional playground, including through temporary installations.
