At the intersection of art, sculpture, play and community activation, designers Danica Pišteková (Woven, SK) and Matěj Hájek (Studio Skull, CZ) will show how creating spaces for creative and adventurous play fosters resilience, self-esteem, physical and mental health, social connection and a more inclusive urban environments.

MIB Talk: Urban Play Scapes

The discussion will also exlopre how collaboration with local authorities can create meaningful opportunities for play, address community concerns and ensure that the needs of girls and young women are actively considered in the design of public spaces.
We will reflect on the boundary between playscape and traditional playground – including temporary interventions and meanwhile use in public space.
