Participation in the winning proposal – Winter Harbour

In 2026, an open public anonymous urban planning competition was announced for the transformation of the Winter Harbour, and as of November 9, it knows its winner. Out of 123 submitted proposals, 7 advanced to the 2nd round. Based on its expert assessment, the international jury selected the best one, which you can view—along with the other six—at the exhibition in TU-BA.

Come to a guided tour of the winning proposal, where we will introduce you to the core principles of the winning design. You will also learn why the international jury chose it and what its specific features are in relation to the transformation of this exceptional area.

Following the tour, there will be a participatory session on the winning proposal—we will ask participants about which places in the proposal are the most attractive to them and, conversely, which spaces should be further elaborated in the future. The outcomes will be sent to the winning team and taken into account during the further development of the urban design for this area.
